Responsibilities
- Food & Beverage Service
- Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas; set tables
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- Package take-out orders and portion/wrap foods
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and storage areas
- Dishwashing & Cleaning
- Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other items by hand as needed
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and work areas
- Clean mats, carts, and waste disposal units
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Handle and store cleaning products safely
- Food Preparation
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and fruits
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim food items
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Keep records of food quantities used
- Supplies & Inventory
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
